The Gynaecological Oncology Unit at the Hospital Universitario Sanitas La Zarzuela has a multidisciplinary group of highly qualified and trained specialists with the most up-to-date knowledge on the cancers of the female reproductive system (ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vaginal and vulvar).

The gynaecology team works with oncologists, radiologists, surgeons, pathologists and other specialists in the hospital to coordinate the best clinical treatment protocols.

CERVICOVULVAR PATHOLOGY UNIT

The Cervical Pathology Unit at the Hospital Universitario La Zarzuela is made up of a group of gynaecologists with great experience and knowledge in the pathology affecting the female lower genital tract.

The unit's objective is the prevention, early diagnosis, standardised treatment and constant monitoring of pre-malignant lesions of the cervix, vulva and vagina.

For this, we have the most appropriate diagnostic methods such as pap smear tests, digital colposcopy, directed biopsies and the human papillomavirus DNA determination techniques.

With the application of these methods, we offer the best clinical guidance service for this type of condition, based on diagnostic rigour, monitoring and follow-up of lesions, as well as the most effective therapeutic approach with the lowest possible level of aggressiveness.
